Photo: He’s posing for papa while he sleeps, he just doesn’t know it.

I shot this photo shortly after we received a free baby portrait session in our hospital room the day after Christian was born. Watching the photographer work and setup different poses and lighting, I was inspired to grab some shots of my own while the light from the giant windows on the 11th floor was still good.

While many of the shots I took then were with my new 5D Mark II, I snapped a few with my new cell phone to upload to Facebook right away. Believe it or not, this was one from the cell phone.

In fact, my HTC Evo was 10x better than my previous phone (HTC Hero) and was my primary communication tool for sharing all the good news and photos from baby’s first weekend. Compared to what I thought how much better the cameras on smartphones were getting two years ago, the HTC Evo is just incredible.
