Posing for a single flash test session.
On Wednesday, my new Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L lens arrived, but it wasn’t until later in the evening that I had a chance to take it for a spin.
For this short session at home, I was working with one of my Speedlites (430 EX II) shooting through a medium umbrella on camera right with a 30″ silver reflector at camera left. My wife was resting, so instead of her holding the reflector it was leaning up against the chair by her desk. Had she been holding it herself, it would have been positioned at a better angle to light more of his face.
But that’s why it’s called practice.
