The last shot of the night, and it’s a winner.

I mentioned at the beginning of the week that I had some new gear coming in a few days, and now it’s here, and being put to use already.

Although our condo isn’t exactly spacious for a family of three, I still decided to acquire a started background stand set and backdrop to set up and shoot with right in our living room. The first trial run was Friday night, and while I likely should have switched to my 85mm f/1.8 lens, I was still pretty happy with the initial results.

The next shoot around will be Saturday morning, with a little natural light thrown into the mix. More details on what gear I purchased coming next week.
